3 100 yards or so after Sainsburys, you come to a kind of T junction with the High St coming uphill on your left. Carry straight on, crossing High St and onto the pedestrianised area through the Civic Centre complex. The Job Centre then Magistrates Court are on your left
4 Just after the Court, cross the ring road at the pelican crossing (Fire station on other side)
5. Pass in front of Fire Station (with it on your right) and go downhill on Outcote Bank (A62)
6. At the bottom of the hill you join Manchester Road. Continue past motorycyle dealers and Wickes on left and St Thomas' church on right, until you get to the traffic lights (The Bridge pub on your left) where the road forks.
7. Take the right fork, Longroyd Lane, you will se a railway viaduct ahead - as you walk under this, the road bends to the right and begins to go uphill
